1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using AI Study Coach ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AI Study Coach is an educational application that helps students study more effectively using AI-powered tools including content summarization, flashcard generation, quiz creation, study planning, and an AI tutor chat feature. Content is generated via third-party AI (DeepSeek) and processed through our backend.
3. User Accounts
- You may use the App as a guest with limited features or create a registered account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You must verify your email address to access full features when signing up with email.
4. Subscription Plans
- Free: 10 AI generations per day, unlimited study sets, all quiz formats, spaced repetition, folders, PDF/image import, and basic analytics.
- Premium ($5.99/month or $35.99/year): Unlimited AI generations, AI Chat Tutor, audio flashcards (TTS), adaptive learning & smart review, collaborative study sets, offline mode, CSV export, advanced analytics, and no ads.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions through Google Play Store settings. Prices may vary by region.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Submit content that violates laws or third-party rights (copyright, privacy, etc.)
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
- Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers)
- Share your account credentials with others
- Circumvent usage limits or feature gates
6. Content and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of the study content you input into the App.
- AI-generated content (summaries, flashcards, quizzes, study plans, chat responses) is provided for your personal educational use.
- The App, its design, branding, and technology are our intellectual property.
7. AI Disclaimer
AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. The App is a study aid and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information. Always verify important facts with authoritative sources such as textbooks or instructors.
8. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to academic outcomes, data loss, service interruptions, or reliance on AI-generated content.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our servers.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
